WHY A CIBPA MEMBERSHIP?

Since 1949, CIBPA has contributed greatly to creating a positive image for business people and professionals of Italian origin. CIBPA provides you with an opportunity to network with members from all spheres of economic and social activities. CIBPA events not only provide excellent networking opportunities but aim to be informative and educational.

To those of us who are long-time members of CIBPA membership has become an essential part of our everyday business life as well as a means of making a positive social contribution to our community.
Since 1949, CIBPA has contributed greatly to creating a positive image for business people and professionals of Italian origin.
As well, CIBPA has raised and distributed funds over the year through its Bursary Program, thus helping to ensure that economic hardship would not prevent talented young Canadian-Italians from pursuing their studies.

However, the question most often heard when soliciting CIBPA membership is "What’s in it for me?
The truth is that joining an association such as CIBPA is not like buying a consumer good; there is no clear cut manner in which you can establish its market value or cost benefit ratio. There are, however, numerous excellent reasons that should motivate your adherence to our association and we would like to take this opportunity to tell you about them.

NETWORKING
Networking is the business catch phrase of our times. CIBPA provides you with an opportunity to network with over 300 members from all spheres of economic and social activities.

EVENTS
CIBPA events not only provide excellent networking opportunities but aim to be informative and educational.

CONTACT is CIBPA’s information newsletter. It aims to chronicle the activities of the CIBPA as well as those of its members.

NATIONAL FEDERATION OF CIBPA’S
The first CIBPA was founded in Montreal in 1949. Since then several others chapters have been formed throughout Canada. CIBPA chapters now exist in Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Windsor, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Vancouver.

A WAY TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Our association through its Bursary Program helps young students of Italian origin in financial need to further their studies. Moreover, CIBPA participates in other various activities for the benefit of our community.
