Dear Selection Committee,

It is with great appreciation that I thank you sincerely for awarding me with a CIBPA Foundation Meritorious Bursary for 2016.  I am grateful that thanks to the dedicated volunteers on the committee and especially to the generous donors to the CIBPA Bursary Foundation that students like me can pursue their dreams and develop their talents towards a better future.

I am very proud of my Italian heritage and I am very honoured to be recognized as one of the bursary winners this year from CIBPA.  the funds that I was awarded will be very useful to me this year as I have moved into my own apartment near the McGill campus in order to eliminate the unproductive commuting time from the West Island to downtown.  This award will help greatly to lessen the financial burden associated with living away from home on my own.

Please accept my most sincere appreciation for this kind and thoughtful award.

Sincerely,

Michael Pietrobon

Dear Mr. Spatari, the bursary selection committee, and CIBPA,

 Dear Mme. Biondi,

I am writing to express my sincerest gratitude to you for making the CIBPA Meritorious Bursary possible.  I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honour and I am deeply appreciative of your support.  It takes a special individual to financially support someone whom they may never meet – thank you for your confidence in my abilities!

I am currently majoring in Honours Microbiology & Immunology at McGill University with hopes of pursuing medical school upon graduation in June 2017.  I am involved in several clubs, organizations and projects on campus, thus making it challenging to financially support my education in addition to focusing on my studies.  Thanks to your contribution, I can more vigorously concentrate on my academic career with less worry of my financial burden.

To this end, I will continue to work hard and push myself further, in hopes of one day providing for the next generation of young, vibrant students, as you have done for me.

Sincerely,

Mario Corrado

 Bonjour,

To CIBPA,

It was a tremendous honor to be awarded one of this year's academic bursaries, and a privilege to spend such an inspiring evening together. Your generous support will enable me to focus more time on my studies, to uphold my volunteer commitments and to gain valuable experience in one of Concordia's psychology research labs (where I recently procured a position).

Thank you all, for your commitment, for your hard work, and for believing that my future is worth investing in.

Sincerely,

Dear Mrs Rita De Santis and other CIBPA coordinators,

As one of the award winners of the CIBPA bursary, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for your generosity in providing this award. I was very excited to receive my notification letter and I am delighted to have been selected as a recipient. It is an honour to be recognised for my hard work, and receiving this bursary motivates me to continue to strive to excellence.

I am in third year of my degree in Physical Education at McGill University with hopes of becoming an elementary physical education teacher. The CIBPA bursary program you have worked so hard to organize will be of great help to me in paying my educational expenses, and it will allow me to concentrate more of my time for studying.

By awarding me this generous bursary, you have lightened my financial burden wich allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school; learning. I promise you I will work very hard and eventually give something back to others, both as teacher and possibly a bursary to future students like myself. You have made a profound impact on my life an I am truly very grateful to you.

Thank you for making the CIBPA bursary program possible. I will never forget the generosity extended to me. Sincerely,

Deborah Graziani

To the members and volunteers of CIBPA,

I am writing to express my sincerest gratitude to you for your continued enthusiasm and ongoing activism in obtaining donation funds for students in the Italian community for the last 50 years. I am so deeply appreciative of your support, and am ecstatic to have been selected for a meritorious bursary.
I am currently majoring in Accountancy with the hopes of obtaining a designation as a Chartered Accountant. The financial assistance you have helped me obtain will allow me to focus more of the time and vigour required toward achieving this goal.

Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. It greatly encourages me to continue to work hard. I am proud to be part of such a caring community and aspire to one day be able to help others the way you have helped me.

Sincerely,

Hello,

I received CIBPA bursaries some time ago (06,08 and 09) when I was pursuing my undergraduate studies in Microbiology at McGill. I am very grateful for CIBPA's support early on in my career. It allowed me to more easily further my studies - and this past summer I completed my PhD in genetics.

Looking back, I am really thankful for the bursary program and I am glad to hear it continues to help so many students!

Sincerely,
